Senior Software Engineer (Full stack) - NVIDIA Unified Commerce Platform

We are looking for a hardworking and innovative software engineer interested in building NVIDIA's Unified Commerce Platform (UCP). UCP will build the software components to enable all other NVIDIA cloud services to monetize their businesses. UCP will make it possible for NVIDIA cloud services to make their solutions available to customers with custom-made pricing and billing models, as well as providing the functionality that allows service teams to securely accept payment for customers' service usage. As a software engineer on the UCP team, you will own the full lifecycle of building meaningful software that enables NVIDIA to meet our goal of making AI, deep learning, and high-end gaming available for everyone in the cloud at a click of a button.

What you will be doing:

• Design, implement, deploy, and maintain applications and services that impact NVIDIA's business with an emphasis on subscriptions and pricing

• Focus on designing and coding architecture that yields significant performance, availability, and business value

• Work with other engineers withing the Cloud Engineering & Services team on the shared full stack ownership of a collection of services. Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production UCP services

• Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to understand business requirements and align software direction to meet those needs.

What we need to see:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent program from an accredited University / College (or equivalent experience)

• 3+ years of non-internship professional experience in software development

• Deep experience in at least one modern programming language such as Java (Preferred), Go, C#, Python, Node and mastery of object-oriented design and programming

• Experience with one or more of the following required (Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)

• Familiarity in standard frontend technologies like modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, JSON, CSS pre-processors, and Webpack

• Experience in UI frameworks like React or Angular

• Understanding of frontend architecture, building large scale single-page web applications

• Hands-on experience building complex web-based user interface

• Strong self-initiative, passion, interpersonal skills, and agility working with new technology

• Hands-on development of distributed system features and/or cloud scale services, and RESTful web services

• Deep understanding of cloud design in the areas of global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing and security

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Show previous experience with developing systems at cloud scale

• Experience with AWS cloud computing stack

• Demonstrate delivery of complex projects in previous roles

• Experience with container-based virtualization (e.g. Docker) and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)

• Experience with Configuration Management systems (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing, and operations

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires that NVIDIA provide the compensation range and benefits offered for this position if performed in Colorado. The base salary range for this position in Colorado is $126,000.00 - 173,250.00 USD.

Base pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related reasons.
