U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Senior Software Engineer

  • Full Stack Developer (Java) in Irving, TX.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Engineer

  • Full Stack Developer (Java) will work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and create a solution design that meets business and technical needs. Specific duties include the following:
  • Evaluate business requirements, perform a gap analysis and create a solution design that meets business and technical needs in an Agile environment.

  • Develop and enhance microservice endpoints (Rest and GraphQL) and update or create swagger.

  • Analyze production issues of products and applications to provide timely solutions in resolving the issues.

  • Perform code reviews and provide coding standards to maintain code quality.

  • Participate in daily standups, story grooming, iteration planning and retrospective meetings.

  • Participate in technical collaboration meetings and connect with different stakeholders on a regular basis for resolve or clarify issues.

  • Perform the deployments of micro services from development to production environments using CloudBees Jenkins.

  • Be responsible for overall quality and timelines of the deliverables.

  • Perform work using the following tools and technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, CI/CD pipelines (CloudBees Jenkins), Cloud Deployments, JSON, JavaScript, Git, Jira, Maven, Junit, Tomcat, Oracle (SQL), Java Messaging Services (JMS) and Lombok.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems and 5 years of experience in Full Stack Development (Java).

Required Skills/Experience:

Must also have the following experience: 1) Two years of experience performing work using the following tools and technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, CI/CD pipelines (CloudBees Jenkins), Cloud Deployments, JSON, JavaScript, Git, Jira, Maven, Junit, Tomcat, Oracle (SQL), Java Messaging Services (JMS) and Lombok. 2) One year of experience working in an Agile environment and creating a solution design that meets the business and technical needs. 3) One year of experience developing and enhancing micro service endpoints, updating, or creating swagger. 4) One year of experience performing the deployments of micro services from development to production environments using CloudBees Jenkins. 5) One year of experience performing code reviews; providing coding standards to maintain code quality; and being responsible for overall quality and timelines of the deliverables. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master's program.

Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $139,464 - 171,000.
