Senior Software Engineer Embedded Linux (Contract)

Our team is actively searching for a hardworking Embedded Linux Software Engineer to join our engineering team and be responsible for designing and implementing our next generation telematics software products. This is a great opportunity to work with and learn from a highly skilled team of firmware, embedded and hardware engineers who are motivated to build products from inception through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Execute all phases of project development including design, implementation, test, and integration

• Develop in C++ and C

• Develop in both kernel and user space for an embedded Linux platform

Qualifications

• Strong C/C++ development skills

• Knowledge of Linux Kernel Internals (e.g. memory management, synchronization, device driver framework)

• Experience with embedded build systems. Preferably Yocto

• Experience creating UML diagrams

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communications skills, both verbal and written.
