The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER is a critical position.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and program software as assigned in a timely manner and assist with software development and definition

  • Provide SaaS product customer configuration

  • Provide support for escalated production issues

  • Have an excellent working knowledge of the company's business so as to best support company software initiatives

  • Create and maintain documentation and test plans in timely manner. Maintain standards compliance

  • Provide critical feedback to manager and co-workers in a timely manner

  • Maintain current knowledge and expertise of software development tools, applications and practices that are critical to the job such as C#, MS SQL, .NET framework, ASP.net, designing, coding and debugging applications, relational databases, Java and SQL queries

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING/SKILLS:

  • A degree or training in computer science

  • 5 years software development experience using C#, MS SQL, .NET Framework, ASP.net and Java

  • HTML 5: 3-years Experience required

  • Experience working with relational database MS SQL and writing SQL queries

  • Excellent communication (verbal and writing) and presentation skills

  • Superior organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage projects

  • Excellent detail and organizational skills

  • Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.

Unlike traditional approaches, Cylance does not rely solely on signatures or even pre-determined behaviors to determine if something is known to be good or bad. Instead, we have developed a mathematical approach to identifying advanced threats. This intelligent system evolves in real-time as new threats emerge, providing continuous detection. We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Data Science team in Portland, OR.
