Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of a proven track record for building and shipping production software

  • 2+ years of experience with public cloud tech and services such as Azure

  • 1+ years of recent experience with Python, object-oriented design concepts

  • Bachelor's degree inComputer Scienceor equivalent industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with build systems

  • Experience with building release management system

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. We are looking for individuals who are technical leaders in design and implementation for the next generation of cloud platform capabilities that we are building. You will provide technical leadership and oversight of feature crews for designing and implementing a scalable, maintainable, and resilient systems of engineering. You will be expected to work collaboratively and promote collaboration within the team. Own and help others on the team through competing priorities and solve multi-faceted complex technical challenges to meet business goals. As a key member of the AI solutions team, you will work closely with data scientists and software engineers in several organizations at Microsoft as well as external customer and partner organizations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop large-scale solutions which are modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, and reusable.

  • Define and drive modern software engineering practices through design and code reviews.

  • Design end-to-end integration across multiple products.

  • Leverage user feedback/telemetry to make decisions.

  • Define software quality standards. Continuously improve test coverage and release readiness.
