The Challenge

The Digital Media Globalization Engineering organization is going through a major transformation to develop Generative AI (GenAI) based technologies and to create new content transcreation and translation workflows that will result in increased agility, lower cost, higher consistency, and improved quality.Our US-based engineering team is heavily involved in building transcreation and translation workflows for multiple content types utilizing GenAI, connecting a variety of authoring and content storage systems to our in-house globalization platform, such as AEM, Milo, Workfront, and GenStudio, just to name a few. These workflows will cover content transcreation and translation for text (UI, documentation, marketing), image, audio, and video.

What You'll Do

As a senior software engineer, you will use state-of-the-art tools and technologies to design and develop scalable end-to-end solutions for our content supply chain, utilizing GenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and multimedia models to automate and streamline these content workflows. All while ensuring these solutions have high performance, scalability, optimization, and reliability, resulting in improved linguistic consistency and quality across large volumes of content for global customers.As a technical leader at Adobe, you will provide technical leadership and influence over other teams and engineers, and often be a mentor to more junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams and functions, including product managers, data scientists, operations, and senior leadership.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Software & Service Architecture

• Extensive experience designing and implementing scalable software and service architectures, particularly for web applications.

• Cloud Engineering

• Proven experience with distributed systems and cloud engineering, including deployment and management of cloud-based applications.

• AI & ML Proficiency

• Past experience developing and leveraging AI & ML technologies, especially with GenAI, LLMs, and multimedia models.

• Strong development background in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Soft Skills

• Highly self-motivated, independent, quick learner, and has a passion for continuous learning and problem solving.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a proven track record of guiding teams to success.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across different teams.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of large commercial software development experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $154,000 -- $278,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
