Job Summary:

Altair Pulse is new tool that orchestrates meaningful models from the broad workflows required to simulate complex systems of systems to the focused workflows needed to enable fast, reliable, and repeatable modeling, analysis, and optimization. As a senior developer you will help develop and maintain enterprise version of the orchestration platform.

What You Will Do:

Design, develop and maintain product features in C++ and Python

Collaborate with leads to translate requirements to functional designs

Writing clean, maintainable, thoroughly tested, and shippable production code

Perform code reviews

Adhere to defined development process

Basics:

• 5-6 years experience with developing desktop products using C++ and Python

• Strong object oriented design and development skills

• Expert knowledge in C++

• Expert knowledge in IPC, multi-threading, signals, scheduling, sockets, memory management, etc.,

• Working experience with Makefiles, Git, Boost libraries

Preferred:

Python Experience

Tools - git, jira, Jenkins.

Technology stack - QT, Database technology (any of ArangoDB, PostGresQL, MongoDB).
