Senior Software Developer

What success looks like in this role:

Responsible for design, development, administration, maintenance, and support of all the Enterprise Elastic Stack Clusters in all environments. Create enterprise system application with multiple underlying technologies and technology frameworks in an interop environment able to self-heal, sustain the variable high data ingestion into ELK Stack using Auto Scaling, and Machine Learning capability to identify the ingestion anomalies and alert using Service Now. Incorporate service reliability and software quality control for releases during SDLC as part of system design. Identify, analyze, coordinate, and resolve environment and infrastructure needs to ensure a smooth-running, stable, highly available, fault tolerant and DR capable Enterprise level ELK Stack in AWS.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or related role.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

• Linux/Unix

• Windows

• Bash Scripting

• Githhub/Bitbucket

• Jenkins

• AWS SysOps Administrator

• Elasticsearch

• Logstash

• Kibana

• Beats (Filebeat/Metricbeat/Heartbeat)

• Kafka.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

• Powershell Scripting

• Python

• Ansible/Chef/Puppet

• Docker

• Kubernetes

• Java

• SQL

• Ruby.

60% Telecommuting Permitted (within Virginia state).

May be assigned to unanticipated client locations within the US.
