TIAG is now hiring a Senior Software Developer to join our team in Charleston, SC supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC). NIWC provides Health Information Technology engineering support for Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Departments, Defense Health Agency (DHA), and other DoD medical organizations.

The Senior Developer will work with our team supporting NIWC in the areas of systems engineering, systems testing, systems integration, clinical intelligence systems engineering, business intelligence, health registries systems engineering, data modeling and integration, as well as the requisite information assurance support required to secure the aforementioned capabilities for NIWC supported applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in all aspects of developing software applications

  • Communicates effectively with technical team members, content subject matter experts, and customers

  • Supports assigned projects ensuring quality delivery, identifying risks, and escalating issues

  • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, or Computer Science

  • 10 or more years of experience in Engineering, Systems Analysis, Medical Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management

  • Experience supporting related DoD IT/Health programs preferred

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: This Software Developer will be a member of the Synchro Development Team contributing to the design and development of the Synchro application, which supports Cryptologic Carry-On Program (CCOP) and Ship's Signals Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Program systems deployed on Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet), and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS). The ideal candidate will have experience with the latest web-based technologies and a history of direct involvement with successful software development and engineering efforts.
