Senior Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain financial software

• Test changes to ensure issues are resolved and functionality and operational control are not adversely impacted

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs

• Confer with users

• Study systems flow, data usage and work processes, investigate problem areas

• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions

• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code

• Ensure that applications meet business requirements and systems goals

• Provide guidance to less experienced members of the team

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

• 5 years of related experience

• Any amount of experience developing multitier applications using .Net Core, Web API and JSON

• Any amount of experience enhancing and maintaining .NET applications by upgrading the applications by continuous integration and continuous delivery model using Azure Pipelines and GitHub

• Any amount of experience designing business, information and technology architectures on the basis of cost, functionality and practicality

• Any amount of experience designing and developing micro services based architecture on Azure Service Fabric cluster

• Any amount of experience developing statements of problems and requirements, design systems and programs, and writing programs in computer language for solution by means of data processing equipment

Remote work allowed up to 60% of time. Must live within normal commuting distance of worksite.
