Senior Software Developer
EPIX, an MGM Company, is seeking a Lead Software Developer who will be responsible for managing a team of developers in the creation of new features as well as enhancements and maintenance of our current platforms.
Design and architect consumer and internally facing HTML based products
Manage and mentor a team of developers
Planning, estimation and prioritization
Work with the product and design teams on project specs
Engage in responsive design
Work with libraries such as React
Object Oriented mindset to write reusable code
Produce clean and well formatted HTML code (W3 XHTML transitional tested)
Web Browser Compatibility Testing
SKILL REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
5+ years of proven working experience developing best in class software
Strong team leader, excellent mentor, and communicator (written and verbal)
Excellent HTML and CSS skills
Solid understand of Web Standards a must
Ability to architect reusable and fast CSS
Experience working in responsive front-end development
Version Control (GIT)
Excellent communicator and collaborator
React Frameworks or similar
Familiarity with server side engineering such as Python, Node or similar
Believes in building high quality products for its entire life cycle
A team player that will thrive in our fluid, fast-paced, dynamic, scaling environment
Strong personality when under pressure, and must be comfortable being the voice of dissent
A highly motivated self-starter who values accountability
A creative problem solver who makes concise and informed decisions
Detail-oriented and highly organized with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects from inception to production release
