We are looking for a Senior Software Developer who is proficient in C++. This individual will need to participate in the conversion of FORTRAN model code to C++ for a USAF project. A part of a distributed team, the engineer will need to coordinate with the rest of the team to collaboratively problem solve and produce a quality product.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable C++ code

  • Use Microsoft Visual Studio as the integrated development environment

  • Use TFS for source control and task management

  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications and services

  • Test finished code to ensure quality

  • Document code


Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient in C++

  • Skilled in creating WinForms applications

  • Skilled in creating ASP.Net MVC applications

  • Familiar with SQL Server stored procedure use

  • Familiar with SOA concepts

  • Understanding of object-oriented programming

  • Experience writing reusable C++ libraries

  • Experience writing unit tests

  • Experience with source control

  • Ability to attain a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance
