Advance Auto Business Support LLC is seeking a Senior Software Developer reporting to its Raleigh, NC location.

Job Description: Work as part of the Catalog Development team, developing and supporting a growing number of critical enterprise selling processes within Advance Auto Parts.

Partner with various teams across the organization to understand their needs. Frequently involved with design, development, implementation, and support of mission-critical processes leveraged by customers and business team. Develop mission critical processes optimized for best customer experience.

Work with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and other IT teams to understand business needs and their requirements. Work closely with agile teams of data architects and software developers to determine best architectural and design decisions. Find innovative and practical solutions to meet business needs in a fast-paced environment.

Involved in the entire development lifecycle, conducting design and code reviews, with a heavy input through the process from requirements through to production development. Respond to user requests for data and reports. Provide delivery and support of high quality data and ETL solutions. Ensure compliance with standards and conventions in developing programs.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, or related software development field of study and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a Software or database development position.

The position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: hands on technical experience with the following technologies: SQL development and database design, relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres, including administration and utilities, and Oracle 11g/12c), tools used for running queries, performing DB schema changes, and analyzing database activity/performance, developing underlying data models and databases using Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres, any cloud platform, creating, designing, and developing stored procedures, triggers, functions, packages, logical, and physical database design, Unix/Linux, scripting (Shell/Perl/Python), GIT skills to maintain scripts, maintaining and managing all versions of data models for production, testing, and developing databases, and developing, managing, and maintaining data dictionary or metadata.
