Meet the Team

Our Corporate Communications team is tasked with bringing fresh thinking to improve our communications and social media. The ideal candidate for the Senior Social Media Specialist role will be a strategic thinker and self-starter with a proven track record in developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and business growth. Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry within large global environments is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance analysis.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with Silicon Labs' business goals and marketing objectives.

  • Manage and optimize Silicon Labs' presence on various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and emerging channels.

  • Create and curate high-quality, engaging content tailored to target audiences, ensuring consistency in voice, style, and brand messaging.

  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, generating insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, business units, corporate and digital marketing, to ensure cohesive and integrated campaigns.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep Silicon Labs at the forefront of social media innovation.

  • Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster a community around Silicon Labs' brand.

  • Conduct regular competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges within the industry.

Skills You Will Need

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field and 7+ years of experience in social media strategy, preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech industry.

  • Proven experience in managing social media accounts for large, global organizations.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content.

  • Experience with social media advertising and campaign management.

  • Familiarity with SEO, web traffic metrics, and digital marketing best practices.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $92,928 - $172,580 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
