Project ECHO is seeking a talented and mission-driven Senior Social Media Manager to join our Communications and Marketing team!

A successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a track record of success implementing successful social media strategies for large organizations and working in a collaborative and matrixed team environment.

The Senior Social Media Manager will play a critical role in brand development, thought leadership, fundraising communications, marketing campaigns, and raising awareness of Project ECHO's initiatives.

The Senior Social Media Manager will:

  • Develop strategies to enhance the reputation and profile of the organization via social media, by operating the organization's accounts and working with key leaders and spokespeople to enhance their profiles on social media.

  • Collaborate with team members, leadership, and appropriate stakeholders to implement a social media strategy across a consortium of organizations.

  • Develop content, graphics, and various collateral to support strategic objectives.

  • Work collaboratively with other functions, such as events, thought leadership, fundraising and others to enhance the reputation of the organization.

  • Identify opportunities to use digital marketing tools to support thought leadership strategy and improve opportunities to gain access to key events.

  • Monitor and develop grants deliverables for social media, ensuring that all are met.

  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and tactics being used on social media and adjust as needed.

  • Monitor progress, developing regular reports to provide up to date information on progress.

Conditions of Employment

  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skilled writer and editor.

  • Experience supporting thought leadership on social media.

  • Experience working in collaboration with fundraising.

  • Experience or training in project management.

  • Experience with Sprout Social or other social media management tools.

  • Graphic design experience.
