What We Need:

POSITION: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

LOCATION: 6555 State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75039

JOB DUTIES: Implement new ephemeral development and testing environments built on Kubernetes to enable developers to build and test new features more effectively.

Lead cross-functional teams to migrate systems and applications to modern compute platforms such as Kubernetes and Cloud. Build and configure new infrastructure components using tools like Terraform, Ansible and Puppet to improve performance and reliability of our software platforms. 100% telecommuting allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study and Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field of study and Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in lieu of the Master's Degree and 2 years of experience.

Applicants must have Two (2) years of experience in each of the following:

• Writing scripts to automate infrastructure and monitoring services;

• Producing justification for a best-path-forward technical solution for implementation;

• Analyzing existing systems for recommendations as to cause and remedy of technical incident;

• Implementation of networked hybrid cloud/on-premises and virtualized web services; and

• Maintenance of varied Linux systems and services.

OFFERED WAGE: $139,464 - $212,900/year
