Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior SharePoint Engineer/Architect to assist a federal client with web development support in the DC Metropolitan area.
Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
At least five years of experience with architectural designing, installing, supporting, troubleshooting and repairing enterprise SharePoint Server implementations.
At least four years of experience installing, supporting, troubleshooting and repairing Microsoft SharePoint Server.
Experience with architectural design on enterprise SharePoint implementations preferred.
Experience managing and designing multi-server virtual and physical SharePoint farms in a load balanced environment.
In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Internet Information Server and SQL 2014, SQL Server Reporting Services and Access Services. Enterprise Search and FAST search, Nintex Workflow, MetaLogix StoragePoint and ControlPoint.
Successfully anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve simple to moderately complex SharePoint problems. Use sound judgement to escalate issues as necessary.
Write and edit html codes for the customization of SharePoint Online solutions available to the agency-wide user community.
Use various scripting tools such as PowerShell to help with the overall management and governance of the agencys SharePoint Online intranet.
Perform intranet portal administration, Teams application administration, and rights administration.
Develop ad hoc queries and report construction.
Develop forms and workflows using PowerApps & Flow.
Provide support for SharePoint Online integration of various applications into existing/new web page designs such as but not limited to Power Bi, PowerApps & Flow, Info Path, MS Word, MS Excel, MS SQL, MS Project, MS PowerPoint and Visio.
Support user & technical community with multimedia needs posting and managing audio, video, and photos.
Generate or edit graphics using various commonly available tools on SharePoint.
Develop paperless, automated solutions and alternatives to various older or manual processes currently in use by the agencys user community.
Perform all types of administrative and development support as applicable to the agencys SharePoint Online based intranet.
Resolve problems related to SharePoint Online issues.
Perform a wide range of administrative tasks to help with portal and user rights management. It will also be critical to manage portal and memory usage to ensure that agency groups are making the most of the platform, that the site is properly tuned to support the user community and that we fiscally manage the resource properly.
Participate as a member of the Enterprise Application team.
Perform other assignments as determined by the Division Manager or Team Leads.
Additional items in the deliverable stages will include specific recommendations that can be implemented to optimize the physical organization and functionality of the agencys SharePoint Online platform.
The ideal candidate will have:
7-10 years of experience in SharePoint Development and Architecture with demonstrated expertise with SharePoint migration from one platform to another, online administration/governance, PowerShell scripting, form and workflow development, web design tools required to create and design organizational web-enabled sites, pages, web parts, and functions for the agency.
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related subject from a four-year college or technical school preferred.
Experience designing and developing complex business applications in SharePoint 2013 or 2016.
In-depth knowledge with Software Development Life Cycle Process (May include SDLC, Agile, SCRUM, Lean, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online (v2013 & 2016).
In-depth knowledge of PowerApps & Flow, Info Path & SharePoint workflow development.
