ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Senior SharePoint Developer in Washington, DC. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator that works with the Federal Government.

The SharePoint Developer will assist in the development, enhancement and support of SharePoint custom applications including portals, workflow applications and web sites. Candidates must have experience working with SharePoint service applications and a willingness and interest in expanding their SharePoint skill set. The Developer should have experience utilizing SharePoint to solve both technical and business problems.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Participate in all phases of software development with a focus on design, development, integration, and testing using Microsoft .NET technologies and SharePoint.

  • .NET web development experience (.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, jQuery).

  • Experience developing custom lists, libraries, web parts, features, InfoPath forms, event receivers, timer jobs, web sites and applications (WSPs) for SharePoint 2013 and 2016 using the SharePoint object model.

  • Client-side web part development using the SharePoint Framework using JavaScript frameworks and tools such as TypeScript.

  • Extensive experience working with SharePoint Technologies (Windows Foundation, InfoPath, Forms Services, Excel Services, Search Service, Token Service and Web Services) in a variety of business environments.

  • Assist in documenting requirements, technical diagrams, test plans, and system and user documentation, as needed.

Minimum Technical Skills Required:

  • Solid experience working with Managed Metadata Service, Content Types and Search Metadata properties.

  • Strong SQL skills, designing maintainable databases and developing applications against relational databases.

  • Experience with:

  • Visual Studio 2015+

  • .NET Framework 3.5+, SharePoint 2013, 2016

  • C#, .NET, XML, CSS

  • JavaScript, React, Angular, TypeScript, etc.

  • jQuery, SPQuery, SPServices

  • Add-In Model

  • Powershell

  • SharePoint Designer

  • Excellent problem solving, design, coding and debugging skills.

This modernization of VA’s health information management systems will result in a common, single, lifetime health record that both DoD and VA can access, with anticipated improvements in patient care and safety.<br /> <br /> This role will support the implementation and configuration of Microsoft SharePoint for Veterans Administration-Electronic Health Records Modernization. Gather business requirements for system use and reporting, Configure Sites, Subsites, and Document Libraries. Develop appropriate views, custom fields, create calendars, and templates to meet the customer needs, Setup permissions (including users, groups, and categories) to meet client needs. Manage page content (i.e., web parts to capture and display client required data visualizations and page zones), create business rule required workflows to support general program change request.
