The essence of the role

As a Senior Service Implementation Manager, you will be an integral part of the Product team managing the Messaging and Voice products within Sinch reporting to the Director of US Messaging in Atlanta. You will join an experienced team of communication experts and a company widely recognized as one of the most successful in the industry.

The Role

As a Senior Service Implementation Manager:

  • Responsible for the performance, coordination and ongoing process definition of all Operator and Supplier Administration and Regulatory Compliance duties relating to the ordering, deployment and on-going usage of messaging services for US (and ideally Canadian clients.)
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders to detail requirements, changes and service modification for US Messaging Campaigns.
  • Manage client/campaign certifications with wireless carriers to assure compliance and functionality with the SINCH messaging platform utilizing proprietary systems and 3rdparty tools.
  • US Campaign Onboarding, this includes Review, Submission and Certification of US Messaging Campaigns on Short Codes, Long Codes (10DLC) and Toll-Free numbers.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree and/or equivalent work experience in this role and training.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with detail-orientation and proven ability to work well in a self-directed manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills. The ability to manage multiple tasks with due dates will be part of your everyday duties.
  • Requirement for +5 years of concurrent experience in role.
  • Expert in A2P SMS (messaging) business applications and terminology.
  • Intimate knowledge in wireless carrier Campaign Onboarding processes is required.
  • Experience in using web-based CRM or Service Desk applications; or Atlassian Service Desk/JIRA experience is ideal.
  • Willingness and flexibility to support business needs outside normal work hours
  • This role requires you to be either based in the West Coast or support clients in PST

About This Opportunity The Channel Implementations Team supports Sales, Marketing, IT and Operations efforts in a diverse and challenging global business environment. This role is required to plan and help execute the channel's merchant/partner integration projects and/or Product Launch projects. You will be required to review and fully understand all project and business requirements, direct stakeholders at multiple levels of management as well coordinating across internal and external functional groups to ensure on-time and in-spec project delivery. As a Implementation Manager II (also referred to as Channel Manager), you will be responsible for managing the delivery of multiple small to medium size projects which require the ability to lead and influence project stakeholders. On larger and more complex strategic projects, the IM II may participate as a consultant or subject matter expert in support of traditional IT Project Management resources. The IM II works to champion the collection of information essential to gaining project approval via Governance leading to a clearly defined project request while also actively maintaining a backlog of Sales Opportunities. Helping to develop solutions for market challenges, planning for needs of the channel, overseeing activities to facilitate project work flow in a timely manner, & breaking down barriers when necessary to assure the needs of InComm Merchants and Partners are met. The Channel Manager will work to streamline the process of getting from sales opportunity to a clearly defined, approved project through launch. This role will maintain a back log of sales opportunities, and champion the collection of information essential to gaining project approvals through the Governance process. When supporting Product Adds projects, it is the Channel Manager's responsibility to conduct a wide variety of Project Management activities across multiple internal and external groups to accomplish Product Implementations and Partner/Retailer Integrations. Typical Projects will include high-level, complex requests with highest priority and strategic need. IMs are expected to lead, mentor, and train less seasoned staff to aid in continual improvement and education efforts. The role will also deliver analyses, documentation, and process improvements which improve the way we execute, increases efficiency as well as drive merchant satisfaction. This role will provide a consolidated, single point of service and information for the sales teams as well as engage with our merchant customer base directly as needed.
