The Senior Server Administrator is a key leadership role within The Wilbert Group, reporting to the Vice President of IT. This position entails collaborating with all business units and departments to drive operational workflows through technology.

The Wilbert Group IT organization and systems, supporting a $300 million company with four industry-leading brands, 1,200 employee partners, 100 licensee partners, and 300+ points of distribution. Own the global IT organization, strategy & implementation, meeting both external and internal customer expectations and reporting requirements in an efficient and effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Active Directory services, including user accounts, groups, and permissions.

• Manage Office 365/Exchange Online, including all aspects of Entra AD integration.

• Manage FortiToken/MFA platforms to enforce multi-factor authentication.

• Oversee and optimize our VMware environment for efficient resource utilization.

• Manage internal and externally hosted DNS (including network solutions providers).

• Automate tasks and streamline processes through PowerShell scripting.

• Implement and maintain monitoring software for proactive issue identification.

• Manage and leverage Azure cloud services to enhance our IT infrastructure.

• Analyze and respond to security events to safeguard our systems.

• Troubleshoot complex server and workstation issues (Tier 3 support) for both Windows and macOS environments.

• Manage and configure Internet Information Services (IIS) for optimal web server performance.

• Utilize Kaseya for remote access and IT asset management.

• Manage and maintain Parallels environments and Terminal Servers.

• Oversee vulnerability scanning with tools like Rightscan and DDX.

• Maintain system integrity and user activity monitoring with AdAudit.

• Manage endpoint security solutions like Qualys and Sentinel One.

• Manage and configure cloud backups for Office 365 with Backupify.

• Manage and maintain SQL Server instances.

Position Requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Senior Server Administrator or similar role.

• Minimum 3+ years Management experience leading people and strategies.

• Proven experience managing Active Directory, Office 365/Exchange Online, ADFS/Azure Active Directory.

• In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies like VMware.

• Expertise in DNS management (internal and external).

• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell.

• Experience with server and workstation monitoring software.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services.

• Solid understanding of security best practices and incident response procedures.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex server and workstation issues.

• Experience managing IIS for web servers.

• Proficiency with remote assistance tools like Kaseya.

• Knowledge of Parallels environments and Terminal Server management.

• Experience with vulnerability scanning and endpoint security solutions.

• Experience with user activity monitoring tools like AdAudit, Sentinel One, Qualys, Solar Winds

• Experience with cloud backup solutions like Backupify.

• Working knowledge of SQL Server administration.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
