Summary

Seeking a Senior SEO Manager to boost organic traffic by spearheading strategic initiatives and executing key SEO projects. Responsibilities include optimizing website architecture, conducting web audits, enhancing on-page elements, developing comprehensive content strategies, building backlink profiles, optimizing for mobile, and analyzing SEO metrics.

Additionally, the Senior SEO Manager will be tasked with experimenting with new tools and campaigns, collaborating with product marketing, content, and paid search teams to align SEO and PPC strategies, conducting thorough competitor research, and identifying opportunities for driving exponential growth through experimentation and tapping into new tools and platforms.

Requirements: 7+ years of SEO experience with proficiency in SEO tools/platforms like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush, and Google Analytics.

What will you be doing?

  • Drive SEO as a pivotal revenue driver by integrating it into marketing strategies and executing impactful campaigns.

  • Ensure website architecture and coding practices are in line with search engine guidelines to maximize visibility and performance.

  • Conduct meticulous web audits to pinpoint technical issues like crawl errors, broken links, and site speed glitches.

  • Implement optimizations to enhance web performance, indexability, and on-page elements, ensuring top-notch user experience.

  • Strategically identify keywords and topics and align them with content strategy, collaborating with internal teams and industry experts.

  • Research and outline topics for writers, incorporating SEO best practices and buyer personas to create compelling content.

  • Build a robust backlink profile through targeted outreach and promotion efforts, focusing on quality and natural link acquisition.

  • Optimize for mobile experiences and adapt web journeys based on the latest trends and user insights for enhanced engagement.

  • Strengthen the existing SEO content strategy, identifying gaps to further boost rankings, traffic, conversions, and revenue.

  • Explore new tools and campaigns, leveraging AI in SEO efforts

  • Coordinate with paid search teams to synchronize SEO and PPC strategies for maximum impact and collaborate with product marketing and product teams teams to share what paint points customers express in search and how to stay ahead of the competition.

  • Conduct thorough competitor research to uncover keyword gaps and opportunities for page optimization, staying ahead in the SEO landscape.

  • Collect, analyze, and report key SEO metrics, traffic, rankings, and other KPIs to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.

What are the requirements?

  • 7+ years of in-house SEO experience

  • A consistent record of growing rankings, traffic, and or revenue through SEO tactics and experimentation

  • Proven track record of completing projects that required cross-functional partnership

  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communications skills - the ability to clearly and concisely articulate recommendations and insights and collaborate with stakeholders

  • Extensive experience managing numerous cross-functional content strategy projects

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, identifying on-page and off-page site improvements

  • Proficiency in tools/platforms such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Analytics GA4, GTM, ahrefs, VWO, and Lightspeed.
