The Senior SEO Analyst will join an expert team of holistic-minded search marketers. You'll use search insights to craft data-driven digital strategies that demonstrate a deep understanding of our clients' overall businesses. You will identify and lead opportunities to drive performance through content strategy, user experience, and a strong technical foundation. You will own the definition and execution of our search strategies, including performance tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement. You know how to unlock the stories found in data that can drive opportunities in a competitive and fast-paced environment, and you have a passion for optimizing exceptional site experiences.

You will:

  • Own the development, execution, and optimization of search strategies for a range of clients.

  • Use search data (in conjunction with other research sources) to understand user intent, drive content strategy, and identify opportunities.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate SEO strategies and best practices.

  • Effectively convey SEO concepts and strategies to both clients and colleagues in a concise, meaningful, and easy-to-understand manner.

  • Define search-driven guidelines around page content, mobile friendliness, site architecture, URL structure, page titles, meta descriptions, headings, schema markup, page speed, anchor text, internal linking, site maps, etc.

  • Define search requirements and provide direction to copywriters, designers and engineers while quality checking implementation.

  • Develop frameworks and reports to systematically track and improve search performance.

  • Advise on technical website development to manage migrations while maximizing search visibility: for example, redirects, error pages, use of JavaScript/AJAX, etc.

  • Combine paid search and organic search data when available to reduce costs while maximizing key business activities.

  • Conduct paid and organic search audits and competitive analysis.

  • Define success metrics and translate SEO results to business objectives.

  • Merchandise success stories and sell the benefits of new search projects.

  • Pitch, launch, and optimize performance-driven search campaigns.

You have:

  • 4+ years of SEO experience within an agency environment, ideally with multiple websites.

  • Demonstrated achievements in systematically improving search rankings that translated into traffic growth and improved site conversion.

  • Strong presentation skills with an emphasis on crafting compelling visual stories in slide format.

  • Strong technical understanding as it relates to Search in the web development process, and the ability to work in partnership with a development team.

  • Excellent business acumen, results-orientation and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to leverage multiple data sources to inform decision-making.

  • Great attention to detail combined with the ability to prioritize and meet targets and deadlines.

  • Systematic approach to identifying content and UX opportunities and issues, defining solutions, and executing action plans.

  • Experience driving both paid and organic search strategies and the integration of both.

  • Passion for staying current in a rapidly evolving digital environment, leveraging new tools and techniques to gain a competitive edge.

Position Overview Isobar is looking for SEO specialists who are interested in applying their marketing and technical expertise to develop and support enterprise-class search engine optimization programs for our clients. The Senior SEO Analyst will be responsible for driving strategy, planning and execution of search engine optimization projects for various clients at Isobar. The position requires someone with thought leadership capabilities to develop innovative ways of improving client rankings and visibility in the search engines, and be able to execute and enhance Isobar's SEO/SEM marketing approach. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in strategic and technical aspects of the search engine marketing industry, ranging from day-to-day tasks (keyword research and analysis, site audits, content audits), defining and implementing strategic components (SEO reviews, user analysis, keyword targeting models) to technical implementation of SEO best practices for clients. The Senior SEO Analyst will be responsible for conducting extensive audits and provide recommendations to enhance the standing of client websites in natural search listings. Candidates must be detail-oriented, team-oriented, possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and be willing to travel from time-to-time to support client projects. Candidates will join a growing marketing strategy team and assist in expanding the search engine marketing and interactive marketing activities for clients.
