Job SummaryFICO is seeking a Senior SecDevOps Engineer to plan, execute and continuously improve FICOs cloud security posture (with emphasis on AWS). A successful candidate shall have application/script development background, understanding of the DevOps model and its implementation and deep understanding of the cloud infrastructure and operational methodologies. The engineer will work as a function as the security pivot for all interactions with the development and DevOps teams to embed cyber security into the development processes as well as actively work to protect the runtime environments.

Job Description What Youll Contribute Design, implement and manage security controls and automation in a DevOps environment within public clouds (85% AWS, 15% GCP Azure) across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and container platforms. Define the need and assess relevant security tools to address security challenges within cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines. Perform security assessments and provide recommendations and consulting on securing cloud infrastructure and in selecting and implementing cloud-native security tools.

Serve as a knowledge hub and provide guidance, technical leadership to other staff members. Keep abreast of and provide recommendations on emerging security technologies/tools.

Support compliance/certification activities and participate in security audits/reviews.

Create Engineering documentation and procedures to implement tools into the environment. Participate in all Agile ceremonious to create user stories and to assist in developing Sprints and Releases. Perform other duties as needed.

What Were Seeking 8+ years of increasingly progressive experience (flexible). In-depth Understanding of SecDevOps principles. Good knowledge of industry standard tools for the implementation of SecDevOps. 4+ years programming experience in Java, C#, JavaScript, Python or equivalent (flexible). Solid Understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS), and other Cloud providers. Strong understanding of security controls/services in public cloud environments (AWS or Google Cloud Platform). Experience in threat detection, monitoring, log management, incident response, and forensics.

Experience in IAM, secrets management, encryption technologies, OS security hardening, SaaS services hardening, and container security.
