Description

Senior Scrum Master, Mast Technology Services, Inc., Reynoldsburg, OH. Support VS&Co Mobile Center of Excellence.

Assure that each mobile team lives by the principles, values and practices of Agile Scrum. Build and support native and hybrid consumer applications, in store and enterprise native mobile applications with additional native applications being built going forward. Responsible for leading 2-3 Scrum Teams simultaneously - each with their own backlog, sprint planning and sprint execution.

Maintain best practices of Agile across scrum teams as well as coaching and auditing of scrum teams across the organization. While working with technical teams, will require knowledge in Mobile Retail Commerce Apps development life cycle including managing automated and manual functional and regression testing defect management, CICD, release to Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and performance monitoring. Guide teams across the organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values that best fit the organization.

Guide teams across the organization on how to get the most out of self-organization and how to fill the gaps intentionally left out of the Agile/Scrum frameworks. Assess the Scrum maturity of teams across the organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable for the team. Coach PO/PAs on Agile practices to refine and prioritize backlog items.

Mentor new and less experienced Scrum Masters. Support Organizational continuous improvement by participating in Community of Practice (COP) and/or conducting team training. Facilitation of Backlog Refinement, Estimation, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Daily Scrum, Release cadence and Demos across multiple scrum teams.

Lead Scrum and Scrum of Scrum meetings across multiple scrum teams. Build a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised for quick resolution. Collaborate with Product Owners with feature definition, refinements, backlog grooming and demand/capacity planning.

Removal of internal roadblocks or guide the teams to the removal of roadblocks by finding the right associates to help support. Maintain relevant metrics that help the teams see how they are doing. Assist with internal and external communication for transparency and information sharing.

Ensure Retrospectives are productive and that the teams plan and execute on Continuous Improvement items. Remote Work Available. Telecommuting required - employee may live anywhere in the United States.

Supervision is NOT Required for this position. The Senior Scrum Master will NOT oversee the work the Scrum Masters or others below them. The Senior Scrum Master will NOT oversee the work the Scrum Masters are performing, give assignments or due dates.

Minimum Salary: $107,000.00

Maximum Salary: $145,950.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Qualifications

Requirements Include: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree and 3 years of experience, including Certified Scrum Master; 3 years technology project management experience; 3 years of experience working in a near/off-shore model; 3 years of experience working on a digital technology team in a specialty retailer field; 3 years of experience with the following technical skills - Team City, Fastlane (Python), Test Fairy, Charles Proxy, Postman, Embrace, Jira, Confluence, and Figma; 3 years of native mobile scrum experience; and 3 years of experience with multiple Agile practices including Scrum, Kanban, XP, and Lean Product Development.
