The Scrum Master will be responsible for driving multiple teams in an agile framework, guiding the team in stand ups, retrospectives, clearing impediments, managing dependencies, tracking velocity, and more.

  • Be a trusted advisor in how to setup, mature, and scale an Agile setup making use of different Agile scaling frameworks

  • Empower teams to collaborate and make effective decisions promoting adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery and continuous improvement

  • Educate colleagues and clients of all different levels on the Agile and Scrum principles

  • Implement Agile and Scrum processes, principles and practices across all levels and departments within a IT organization

  • Use techniques that increase collaboration, predictability, transparency, and promote a culture of experimentation and innovation

  • Ensure processes are followed

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies

  • Guide, coach, and motivate the development team

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about SAFe, Lean, and Spotify principles

  • Lead and manage team goals and product increments

  • Prepare reports on status, critical metrics, wins, and misses

  • Collaborate with Architects and Product Management

What makes you a good fit for this role?

  • B.S. Degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems

  • You have over 10 years of combined Scrum Master or IT Project / Program management, leading multiple projects and priorities and creating roadmaps from ground up

  • You possess expertise in Agile methodologies

  • You're experience in requirements definition, design, configuration, testing, training, and implementation

  • You're detail-oriented and are able to run multiple priorities and commitments in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • You're self-motivated with demonstrated problem solving skills, high level of determination, a customer-focused mindset, and positive demeanor

  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders and vendors

  • Expertise in conflict resolution

  • You're proficient with related software tools, including but not limited to: MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, JIRA, MS Excel, etc.

  • Scrum Master certification is a plus

  • Experience in Security related work or implementing security products / concepts is a plus

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS Occasional overnight travel and travel spanning 1 to 5 days to customer, client and company facilities. WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS & DEMANDS Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. This position frequently has exposure to outdoor weather due to travel. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS Work requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. Incumbent must be able to use a telephone or headset equipment and operate a keyboard and other office equipment. The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with frequent interruptions is required.
