The Role
The Senior Scientist will provide scientific/medical support for Genmab compounds in various stages of clinical development. This individual will support the execution and implementation of the Medical Affairs strategy as well as representing the GMA in relevant cross-functional teams in close alignment with the Medical Affairs Strategy Lead (MASL). Senior Scientist will serve as a therapeutic area expert in content creation, strategic and tactical discussions, and presentations with internal colleagues, as well as external experts as needed.
This is a hybrid role that requires being onsite 60% of the time in Princeton, NJ.
Responsibilities
Support the execution of the Global Medical Affairs strategy and tactics for Genmab assets
Provide leadership for Medical Affairs cross-functional working groups
Represent Global Medical Affairs at key cross functional forums as needed to provide disease area expertise
Represent company at professional meetings, congresses, and local symposia as needed and lead congress activities
Organize and lead quality scientific/clinical content and asset strategy for advisory board meeting.
Scientific review and interpretation of key competitive data presentation and advise cross functional team on key implications to Genmab products
Assist with global and regional disease strategy and tactical deliverables
Perform research and analytics and provide recommendations to support quality medical decisions regarding clinical research, consultancy, and internal planning.
Assist in the planning and execution of Early Access Program, and investigator initiated trials program, within appropriate standards for compliance, quality, timeliness, and budget.
Interaction with key stakeholders as scientific and strategic expert.
Requirements
Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) in medicine, molecular biology, genomics, cancer biology or other relevant life sciences area preferred.
Experience in medical affairs in hematology or oncology. Basic understanding of all functions within medical affairs.
Basic understanding of the conduct of clinical trials, early access programs and investigator sponsored trials in hematology/oncology preferred.
Excellent analytical skills and solid experience in translating medical/clinical information into medical affairs strategies.
Proficiency in scientific and clinical data review and interpretation.
Strong organization skills.
Knowledge/application of data sources, reports and tools for the creation of solid plans.
Flexibility in terms of working hours and ability to travel globally
2-3 year of experience in pharma/biopharma (including a post-doc fellowship) is required
For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:
$142,500.00---$237,500.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
