The Arvada, CO location is nestled near the foothills of the front range, just west of Denver. The office is a 10-minute drive from downtown Golden and Arvada and is an easy commute from most of the Denver Metro area. Colorado offers year-round outdoor activities and is a melting pot of cultures.

Our team in Moog Space and Defense Group is looking for a Senior Satellite Flight Software Integration & Test Team Lead to join our Space Vehicles team in Arvada, CO. You will report to the Engineering Assembly, Integration & Test Manager and will have a 9/80 hybrid work schedule.

To be considered for the Senior Satellite Flight Software Integration & Test Team Lead role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • B.S. (4 year) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.

  • Experience in Integration, Test, or related experience.

  • Experience reviewing requirements and writing detailed test procedures.

  • Experience with test planning and execution.

  • Experience and skilled in leading and motivating software test engineers.

  • Self-Starter, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and can communicate effectively.

To be great if you also had:

  • Experience with Spacecraft Flight Software development and design.

  • Experience verifying Flight Software.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Bamboo, Jenkins.

  • Experience with Spacecraft Flight Hardware and Software integration.

  • Experience writing automated tests.

  • Experience with one of the following ground software programs: COSMOS, InControl, MAXGDS.

  • Experience with MAX Flight Software.

  • Experience using VxWorks, or other RTOS.

  • Experience in C/C++, Python3, XML and scripting language (Linux Shells).

  • Experience with the Agile development process.

  • Experience interacting with customer and managing customer needs.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

As a Senior Satellite Flight Software Integration & Test Team Lead, you will:

  • Leading a team of software test engineers in the production of test procedures and test plans along with scripts for test procedures and automated test within an Agile framework.

  • Reviewing requirements and design documents.

  • Interfacing with System Engineers and Software Developers.

  • Installing and configuring Flight Hardware and Software.

  • Road mapping test schedules and innovations.

  • Mentoring the Integration and Test Team.

  • Refining Processes.

Salary Range:

  • The base pay range for this opportunity is $115,000 - $184,000 per year.

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
