Senior Project Manager SAP S/4 HANA Implementation Project
Background: The client is a large organization that is currently implementing S4 HANA. They are in need of a Senior Project Manager with S4 HANA experience to join their team.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Manager is a member of the program PMO team and must have a broad and deep understanding of project management using agile methodology. The person selected will be responsible for providing project management leadership for the program.
The SAP Senior Project Manager Role manage the project governance framework and be accountable for ensuring program governance tools and processes are operating as implemented. This includes managing the risk and issue management processes for the program, assisting the work plan validation and optimization efforts and providing expertise to work streams in taking issues to resolution.
The Senior Project Manager has a leadership presence, can effectively partner with all levels of the program team, provide project management expertise, lead and influence others, drive results, and monitor and manage the effectiveness of the program management. They will drive adoption of program governance through the PMO team and maintain and/or optimize the project plans.
The SAP Senior Project Manager will be driving towards issue/risk identification escalation and resolution. They will identify critical decisions needed and drive discussions towards agreements.
Project management experience in cross-functional systems implementations S4 HANA is a plus having this as well
Demonstrated skills in working effectively across business lines and partnering to meet common objectives
Previous employment with multinational companies in Agrochemical or related industries
Proficient in English
Able to manage a detailed project plan and, at the same time, capable of handling complex conversations with leaders of the organization
Action Oriented, but detailed and organized
Project management skillset on ERP implementations
Business minded, business acumen: knows how the business works and is aware of external best practices
Large-scale, global program management experience, including full life-cycle system deployments
Interpersonal Savvy: good relationships up and down the organization, can drive change and tactfully resolve situations of conflict
Ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences (ability to simplify)
