The Sr. SAP Lead Developer will work closely with the Functional/Business teams to design, document, build, test, and maintain interfaces to the SAP modules. The responsibilities include:
Lead the WRICEF(Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms) development needs of the Work-streams on the SAP platform of ECC, EWM, WM, APO, GRC, GTS, PI and MDG.
Lead WRICEF design requirement sessions; where the requirements are transformed into actionable technical solutions.
Lead the PI/PO development work and work closely with cross functional and technical teams for building sustainable interfaces.
Manage and contribute to documentation, including Functional/Technical analysis and Specifications, as well as, support of the Testing of related objects.
Actively manage/maintain Action Items, Key Decisions, Issues and Risks.
Provide Knowledge Transfer to core team and CoE (as appropriate/required).
Report to Development Manager, including responding in timely manner, to all development and/or administrative requests.
Work with offshore team members for coordination of tasks.
Provides technical support to all SAP users on matters related to the programming of SAP modules.
Coordinating technical aspects of operations such as solving production problems, making enhancements to the existing functionality, and fixing logical bugs in the applications.
Maintain strong and effective working relationships with SAP Applications owners, IT Infrastructure team and OS/Network Team.
Lead development activities related to MDG Floor Plan Manager and webservice configuration using data replication framework and MDG Data Modelling.
Advise on future application/platform upgrades.
Assists with the creation of detailed project plans; helps identify any potential deadline problems before they become critical.
Lead and contribute to the solution realization and participate, as necessary, in coding, testing, documentation and maintenance support activities.
Participate in project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code reviews.
Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
Be a multiplier of your skills by actively mentoring other technical resources in the team.
Attend demos and review developed requirements for accuracy.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of experience with ABAP WRICEF's Interactive & Classical, ALV, User-Exits, Forms, Function Modules, BAPI's, IDOCS, ALE, EDI, XML, RFC's.
Minimum 3 SAP full life cycle Implementation projects.
Experience on PI/PO 7.4 or later versions NW BPM, BRM and B2B integration and deep architecture knowledge of PO Single Stack architecture (JAVA).
Strong background in application and systems integration.
Development experience of ABAP proxy framework.
Strong proven experience with IDOC's, Function Modules/ BAPI, BADI, Customer-exits, New enhancement framework, ALE / IDoc framework (configuration, customization, troubleshooting and monitoring) and workflow.
Working knowledge of PI and deep understanding of integration protocols and tools.
Experience in data Conversions using BAPI/BDC/LSMW.
Strong and proven MDG Development skills.
Working knowledge of building custom apps and screens using Fiori and SAP Screen Personas.
