Senior Salesforce Developer

Senior Salesforce Developer (Emerald X LLC, San Juan Capistrano, CA): Serving as the developer and administrator for Salesforce projects using Agile principles. Designing and developing solutions to any errors using primarily the Salesforce platform, Apex programming language and VisualForce application development pages, including reviewing existing code and software structures, identifying likely underlying issues, developing/testing solutions, and implementing those fixes into the relevant architecture.

Developing software solutions using a variety of application programing interfaces (API), with a particular emphasis on the Salesforce framework. Developing, evaluating, and implementing unit tests, a method used by our company to identify whether individual units of computer source code are fit for use and ensure the quality of the application. Participating in development and planning operations for areas such as web security, systems monitoring operations, and Representational State Transfer (REST) and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) APIs.

Systematically collecting customer requirements for the Salesforce interface, determine and analyze any technical issues, and design comprehensive reports to meet data analysis needs and aid in long-term improvement operations. Carrying out the ongoing technical review and analysis of new developments, products, and technologies in order to maintain a strong understanding of Salesforce Declarative Programming and Administration, including developing code, custom objects, lighting components, VisualForce pages, Apex programming language, reports, workflows and assignment rules. Identifying new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that our company maintains the highest quality development framework.

Serving as an internal Subject Matter Expert for matters related to software solution architecture, including providing guidance, feedback, and analysis on matters related to configuration, development, integration, and customization of complex environments. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience with Apex (Salesforce's programming language). Experience with Visualforce and Lightning Component Framework.

Experience with Salesforce APIs and integration techniques. Experience with Data modeling and database design. Experience with Security and access control.

Experience with Lightning and Lightning Web Components. Experience with Salesforce DX (development tools). Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and at least 2 years of experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer or related occupation. Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required.
