What you will do:
Sales Application Product Trainer (Fire Detection) leads the execution of successful training solutions aligned with the specific needs of the channel sales teams.
Working closely with key stakeholders in the distribution channels, candidates will meet their training needs, shape curriculum solutions, and collaborate in the design of detailed training modules. This role will primarily deliver training, collaborate on design and development, and drive continuous improvement. Requirements include consultative skills, strong business acumen, sales experience, project management skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. The Sales Application Product Trainer must understand Simplex Fire Detection technology portfolio and successfully train sales representatives and system designers.
This role will be critical in the skill building of product application, solutions, and the building of customer relationships for internal and external sales channels.
How you will do it:
Training Curriculum Delivery and Development Support:
Builds strong relationships with students, sales development subject matter experts (SMEs) and channel management
Deliver fire detection sales application training classes to our channel partners in either company owned training centers or at the customer's site
Support the sales development SME to identify, assess, and analyze business requirements and training gaps to design effective learning solutions
Suggest learning enhancement solutions that impact change in skill or behavior
Project manage the training programs end-to-end while interfacing with internal and external partners to achieve program objectives
What we look for:
Bachelor's degree in business, education or equivalent experience
3 years experience in any of the following:
Business to business direct sales
Previous Simplex Fire Detection experience preferred
Deep knowledge of fire detection technology, products and market is a huge plus
Ability to travel ~30%
