Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing support to the North American Sales Teams by reducing the amount of non- sales activities that are required to get a prospect to an Iron Mountain customer. This role will be responsible for providing the more complex support needed to Mandated opportunities, Global opportunities and Channel Sales OTO opportunities. This role will include some Customer facing activities related to the mandated and channel opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the project manager for global sales opportunities by coordinating the tasks/steps needed to price and contract these global deals. Includes interface with international sales, operations and support resources. Requires partnering with other internal Iron Mountain departments such as Legal, Price Management, Sales, NCSP, Implementations, etc.

  • Provide customer facing support for new business opportunities that do not require a commissioned resource to "close". This includes mandated deals, channel opportunities, etc. Tasks to include communication with the customer, maintaining opportunities in SFDC and coordination with NCSP and implementation team.

  • Reporting and tracking of metrics such as monitoring SLA's, tracking progress, providing periodic status reports to relevant parties.

Qualifications

Functional Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with internet search tools

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong process management skills

  • Customer service focused

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Must possess excellent written, verbal and analytical skills

  • Ability to work with all levels in the organization

Business Expertise:

Should have strong customer service, administrative and organizational skills and experience. Needs to be able to understand sales processes and follow internal processes and SLA's. Must understand how to utilize internet tools in order research and provide information on customers and prospects.

Leadership:

Not responsible for leading others or programs. Will coordinate manage sales opportunity related activities through our internal process and departments

Problem Solving:

Will work within defined processes, procedures and SLA's while providing support to the sales representatives. Will follow up and interface with internal departments and customers requesting information and providing updates to sales team. Must be able to recognize and identify process breakdowns or situations that are not the norm and escalate those accordingly.

Interpersonal Skills:

Needs the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively within and across these groups to ensure successful execution of Iron Mountain goals. Strong written, oral and presentation skills. Must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Travel Requirements:

  • Total travel: Rare

  • Local travel: 4-6 times per year to Boston HQ

  • Overnight travel: Rare

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education / Experience:High School / 2 4 Years

  • Preferred Education / Experience:4-Yr College Degree / 4 7 Years
