Sr. Sales Strategy and Operations Analyst

We are looking for a Sr. Analyst to be part of the growing Sales operations team in San Francisco, CA. Sales operations serves as a critical business partner to the broader sales organization by providing the tools, analytics, education and execution to ensure the operational needs of the Sales team are met. This role will play a critical part in providing insightful analyses and actionable recommendations to the Sales leadership team that will influence strategy and implementation of objectives that appropriately reflect HashiCorp's business goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with KPI tracking on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis to continually assess the health of the business across a set of key metrics

  • Extensive experience using Salesforce CRM with an understanding of its basic structure and advanced reporting capabilities

  • Refine the sales management processes, including dashboards, pipeline management, and account and territory planning

  • Assist with quarterly and annual operational and strategic sales reviews

  • Design, implement and manage sales forecasting, planning and budgeting processes

  • Able to handle projects with multiple work streams, coordinate internal/external resources, and ensure completion of projects are on-time, within scope, and within budget

  • Assist with ad hoc strategic and operational projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, FP&A, Analytics or Business Intelligence

  • Very high attention to detail

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines, and prioritize contending workloads

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally

  • Excel power user with strong data analytics

  • Prior experience with SQL a plus

  • Undergraduate Degree in STEM or a quant heavy discipline

Prior experience in Investment Banking, PE, or some other Financial Services function preferred

As the Senior Manager, Business Strategy and Operations, you will identify, analyze, and lead strategic initiatives in partnership with the Infections Diseases Therapeutic Area (ID TA) and the Discovery Sciences (DS) function, providing support for efficient and effective operations. You will be responsible for the coordination of business operations within the ID TA and will support the ID TA in their interactions and engagements with various JNJ business functions that are external to the ID TA organization. The individual will partner directly with ID TA leadership and functional leads within the organization to ensure the alignment, accountability, and focus needed for effective execution of critical R&D operations. Serving as the point of escalation within the Janssen BioPharma Business Operations (BizOps) team, you will report to the Senior Director of Operations & Project Management at Janssen BioPharma. Specific responsibilities include: * Provide end-to-end business and operations support to the various groups within the South San Francisco Business Unit (SSF BU) teams, with particular emphasis on contracting & procurement in accordance with Janssen procedures and compliance * Provide end-to-end business and operations support to the North America ID TA teams * Assist in identification, development, and execution of ID TA strategies and special projects * Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Legal to support contracting and HCC processes; provide insight into scientific project needs and processes * Serve as single point of contact and local liaison for BizOps team and ID TA & DS business partners * Assist in high-priority, high-urgency, and/or high-sensitivity matters among the BizOps team * Identify, prioritize, and guide opportunities to improve business processes at the SSF BU and ID TA * Guide development, warehousing, and distribution of key support documentation and best practices * Provide guidance and support for Business Support Concierge initiative Qualifications Required: * Bachelor's degree * At least 6 years of experience in the R&D pharmaceutical industry * Direct management experience or leadership in a matrix environment * Proven ability to interact with and support senior leadership teams * Experience in handling confidential and proprietary information * Ability to engage in efficient, effective collaboration with external parties * Proficient capability with complete Microsoft Office suite of tools and with Salesforce and SAP products Preferred: * MBA * Experience in Contracting and Procurement Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
