We are searching for a highly-motivated, scrappy, and passionate Senior Recruiter to help meet our exciting growth goals for 2019 and beyond. This person will be the strategic talent partner for a diverse group of internal clients that operationalize and scale our business. This person will be the first recruiting presence in our Chicago, Illinois office.

The Expectation for Success

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 6+ years of full-time experience in Recruiting or a related field; experience in corporate recruiting is strongly preferred

  • Track record or aptitude for successfully identifying and qualifying extraordinary candidates through LinkedIn, resume reviews, and other creative methods

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing personalized candidate close plans

  • Passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience

  • Deep understanding of the SAAS Sales market

  • Confidence to provide consultative advice to talent leaders and hiring managers

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and drive results with minimal direction

A Day in the Life

You will establish a recruiting presence in our Chicago office. Upon demonstrating success in the role, you will help build out the Chicago recruiting team. You will fill unique roles and own searches for a variety of jobs and locations. This includes collaborating with recruiters and hiring teams to drive recruiting strategy, as well as effectively sourcing, interviewing, and closing top talent. You will support one (or many) of our client-facing teams in their recruiting efforts. You will use data to inform recruiting strategies and develop processes that deliver a high-touch candidate experience. In addition, you will build relationships within the organization, collaborating with other recruiters and your hiring teams and serving as a trusted talent partner before, during, and after the recruiting process. You will use your closing skills and craft highly customized closing plans for all levels of candidates and your real passion for sharing the Qualtrics story resonates with candidates across the country. You will develop hiring strategies that position Qualtrics to achieve long term growth, identify and assess new markets, and help the company meet annual revenue and profitability goals.

This role will perform Human Resources related duties at the professional level and will be responsible for several major functional areas, such as: staffing, recruitment and selection, HRIS, compliance reporting, benefits, compensation, and data analytics and integrity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Functions as a HR Business Partner to the Chicago, IL branch managers and multiple branch managers within the Air & Sea division * Performs full cycle recruitment for various exempt and non-exempt positions; creates requisitions, writes job descriptions, creates and maintains job postings, actively sources for top talent, reviews resumes, performs telephone interviews, in person interviews, and reference checks * Partner with branch managers and hiring leaders to obtain a full understanding of recruitment needs * Effectively source for viable candidates via multiple recruitment databases, attract top talent through networking and social media, develop talent pipeline for future hiring needs * Supports the entire onboarding process: pre-employment screening, new hire paperwork, I-9 & E-Verify, and benefit enrollment * Acts as a Human Resource Transaction Partner in DSV Employee Central (HRIS) * Resolves HR Helpdesk tickets timely and accurately * Performs benefit administration including communicating benefit plans to employees * Participates in the administration of annual open enrollment, including audits and system data entry * Researches and analyzes; employment laws, human resources policies, and communicates the information effectively to the managers * Maintains records and compiles statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, turnover, and performance appraisals * Advises managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and harassment prevention, and recommends needed changes * Assists all levels of management and evaluates their needs in regards to HR services * Effectively establishes, builds and maintains working relationships at all levels to ensure the managers achieve their business goals * Conducts exit interviews to identify reasons for employee turnover; analyzes and shares trends with Branch Manager and HRSS Manager OTHER DUTIES * Support other HR areas as needed including special projects. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related field and 5 years' experience working in Human Resource field required or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Prefer HR Shared Services team experience. At least three years of hands on successful recruitment experience, including use of CareerBuilder, LinkedIn and social media.
