The Sr. Regional Sales Manager's primary focus is to ensure through his/her leadership that the customer experience, sales expectations, people management and leadership role are delivered in a way that continually improves and enhances the image and reputation of the Key brand. There will be a strong focus on Indirect sales results and overall accountability for the customer experience. This role is responsible for representing Key in line with the company image, core values; consistently demonstrating high standards and integrity.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Lead a team of Indirect Business Development Officers with a strong emphasis on business development, talent identification and development, retention and achieving sales goals
Responsible for an individual assigned territory of dealership s and related business development volume goals
Lead and set the tone for sales coaching, employee engagement and accountability for sales results
Accountable for role clarity through team with a focus on continuous improvement
Manage client relationships, being a market expert for identified region and build success in attracting new business Meets with prospects and customers to achieve sales and cross-referral goals.
Maintains strong business relationships
Coordinates with other internal business development personnel to exchange prospect information as appropriate.
Coordinates customer account relationship management.
Monitors dealers on a regular basis
Represents Company at customer-oriented business groups and civic organizations to develop referral network and enhance sales performance.
Maintains knowledge of consumer lending products and services.
Bachelor's degree in business related field with advanced degree, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 8-10 years proven Indirect/ Dealer Finance sales
Strong understanding of Dealer Auto Finance channels.
Proven management/leadership experience, including implementing material changes, while simultaneously demonstrating a commitment to cultural excellence.
Must be comfortable with hands-on management with remote team members.
Strong knowledge of dealer financial services industry practices, with a primary emphasis on Retail Finance and related legal and regulatory guidelines. General knowledge of Wholesale Inventory financing a plus.
