As the Senior Sales Manager, youll oversee growth of a key national account, leading the companys efforts to maintain and expand relationship with a large, multi-location national account. You will works closely with all support teams to ensure SLAs are met, information is shared properly, and all parties are collaborating. Youll speak into the overall account strategy, responsible for setting strategy, tactical implementation of strategy and developing sales team.
This role is a remote position, but candidates must live in the Los Angeles area.
Your new role
Setting and executing sales strategy
Partner closely with SVP of national accounts on account strategy
Participate in financial budget setting annually
Speak into appropriate team KSMs
Establish and execute on internal communion cadence
Establish and implement accountability practices processes and inspection tools (i.e. Account plan, relationship tracker, metric reports etc.)
Set and monitor account and individual sales targets
Establish accountability practices with delivery teams leveraging metrics; Able to hold self and ancillary teams responsible for daily and weekly established activity and outcomes to meet account objectives
Account execution and growth
Responsible for personal production (will change when account gets to a certain size)
Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an on-going basis
Accountable for overall account net fee growth
Interact often with delivery and support teams to ensure client SLAs are met, information sharing process is flawless and all parties have an open and harmonious working relationship
Prepare and attend formal client business reviews
Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings
Develop strong relationship with key buying influences within the account
Prepare reports for senior management and external requestors as approved and appropriate
Closely coordinate company executive involvement with key customer stakeholders
Hiring, coaching and developing account sales team
Ensure our internal recruitment team understands the role profile for sales team serving designated client to include cultural nuances within the account
Solicit referrals and leverages own network to ensure top talent is attracted into Hays to serve designated account
Work with training to ensure that designated account sales team has the training and coaching tools needed to thrive in their respective roles
Provides hands on coaching on weekly basis
Develops strong understanding of team needs, goals and has an eye on career progression
Strategic direction (Business insights)
Participates in business planning
Collect and analyze sales data and trends
Responsible to drive and define KPIs and measurements for the people and process that support designated national account
Provides feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement
Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization
Understands client organization structure and key client stakeholders and drive a relentless pursuit of delivering our best in every client interaction
Shares knowledge and information appropriately
Effectively downstream key messaging and strategic responsibilities and activities
Ability to delegate responsibilities and ask for support when needed
Foster One Hays to re-enforce Hays values within the team and with all our Hays business partners
What youll need to succeed
You possess 5+ years experience in staffing sales and account management within the staffing industry
Demonstrated leader with ability to motivate, inspire and elevate team
Ability to maintain own book of business while leading additional sales team and overall account execution
