Job Summary

  • As Senior Sales Manager, you will

Understand the competitive landscape and do what it takes to secure business that meets or exceeds revenue expectations and profit goals.

Solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat clients using multiple channels, such as social media, outside calls, and telemarketing.

Capture the client's vision and effectively convey the specifications to appropriate departments, rapidly responding to inquiries, concerns, and issues, ensuring an exceptional client experience and seeding future sales.

Connect with people in a meaningful way, continually innovating to expand the reach with key corporate, business, and travel industry accounts, tapping into community organizations and the media to elevate the hotel's market share awareness and driving further business.

Fundamentals

A four-year college degree or equivalent education or experience is preferred, with one to two years' employment in a related position. Must possess effective verbal and written English communications skills.

Advanced knowledge of sales and hospitality principles and practices is expected. This position also requires an ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Responsibilities Provide daily administrative and technical management of renewable construction projects delivering energy savings for public, institutional, industrial, government, and commercial customers. Management of full project budget, project schedule, and financial analysis Direct interface with Ameresco customers managing customer service, relationships, contracts, etc. Assist Engineering and Development Team in project design and development including scope, subcontractor selection, cost estimation, installation, and project scheduling. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to assure competitive cost, best schedule and delivery for all project-related equipment, supply installations, and construction services. Directly manage vendors, subcontractors, and construction managers (site superintendents) to ensure quality control and project delivery on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Schedule management; update schedules to reflect current information, monitor critical path activities, and track outstanding items. Work closely with the Project Finance, Construction, and O&M Services teams to satisfy all requirements for commercial operation and financial close. Provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration. Manage project expenditures and job cost accounting processes: including accuracy, documentation, approvals, payment reporting, monthly forecasting and tracking. Ensure compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codes. Foster positive and effective business relationships at all levels and project phases. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 5 years electrical, mechanical, engineering, or industrial power construction project management work experience focusing on complex facility infrastructure construction, renovations, retrofits, upgrades, building controls and automation, energy services, and renewable technology. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or construction related field from an accredited university. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated work experience with building technologies; direct digital energy controls systems, variable frequency drives, high efficiency motors, central plant chiller and boiler installations, lighting retrofits, warranty and service requirements preferred. Proven experience with OSHA safety standards, mechanical and electrical systems development, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships. Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills. Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD. U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required. Valid Drivers' License in good standing, issued by resident state. May be required to pass security clearance investigation. May require on-call response and travel.
