Job Description

Evinex is on the lookout for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in a pivotal, full-time remote position. This unique role calls for a dynamic sales professional with a deep background in sales, specifically within the realm of staffing / recruiting agencies and consulting firms with a B2B focus. The successful candidate will play a dual role—initially acting as both a sales representative and strategist. Responsibilities will include managing and converting new leads, spearheading outbound efforts to secure new clients, and laying the groundwork for Evinex's sales strategies. This role has growth potential, financially and professionally.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Sales Manager will be instrumental in shaping the sales strategy and driving business growth. Initially focusing on hands-on sales activities, you will manage incoming leads from our marketing efforts and undertake outbound efforts to acquire new clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that individual and team quotas are consistently met.

  • Manage new leads generated by our marketing efforts and convert them into clients.

  • Execute outbound strategies to identify and engage potential new clients .

  • Hold daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives, monitor progress, pivot as needed

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to improve lead generations efforts from marketing campaigns.

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential client segments.

  • Create and present sales reports and forecasts to the management team.

  • Provide leadership as needed, manage the sales team, including hiring, training, and performance development.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

  • Significant experience in sales, with a strong background in a B2B environment, particularly in staffing or recruiting agencies.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, with a proactive approach to handling new leads and pursuing sales opportunities.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster relationships with clients and team members.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and making data-driven decisions.

  • Leadership skills, with the ability to transition into a managerial role and oversee the development of a sales department.

  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn and grow with the company.

Education / Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is highly preferred. A Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a similar advanced degree would be a plus, indicating a deep understanding of business strategies and sales management.

  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience with a proven track record in the staffing or recruiting industry, demonstrating significant achievements in B2B sales, client acquisition, and account management. Experience should include direct sales, developing sales strategies, and implementing sales processes that have led to measurable growth in a competitive market.

  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in building and managing sales teams, including hiring, training, and mentoring sales professionals. This experience should highlight the candidate’s ability to foster a high-performance sales culture.

  • Experience in setting up or significantly expanding a sales department would be invaluable, showcasing the candidate's ability to strategize, execute, and adapt in building a sales infrastructure from the ground up.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
