The Regional SalesDirector Provider Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth intheir assigned territory by successfully growing and retaining existingprovider clients and aggressively targeting, engaging and closing providerprospects. In their assigned market, this position will work collaborativelywith the assigned account management team to develop the necessary tactics andrelationships to ensure high client growth, satisfaction and retention.

MCG Major Responsibilities

  • Plansand conducts the overall growth and revenue retention strategy for assignedprovider clients in partnership with the Account Management team and under thedirection of the National Vice President of Sales

  • Aggressivelyidentifies, targets and closes new business

  • Meetsor exceeds annual revenue targets, client retention goals for assigned providermarkets/accounts

  • Proactivelymanages and supports directly assigned Provider accounts

  • Appropriatelydelivers meaningful and constructive responses to RFP/I's while workingcollaboratively with other internal resources

  • Activelysupports the Division's Tradeshow/Industry Event strategy and execution

  • Adeptcommunicator with the ability to think on their feet and effectively engageclients/prospects

  • Becomewell-trained in all aspects of Guideline products and technology toensure successful client management

  • Abilityto travel overnight at least 30%

Experience / Skills

  • 5+years of successful "New Business" sales into Provider Market, specificallyfocused on IT Healthcare Software

  • Significantknowledge of the managed care/case management industry

  • Knowledgeableregarding the use and role of evidence-based guidelines by providers preferred

  • Experiencemanaging RFP/RFI response and follow-up

  • Demonstratedability to write reports and make sales presentations, including


  • Experienceworking with providers regarding resource management and cost benefit analysis

  • Experiencewith enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations

  • Previousnegotiations involving risk bearing contracts

  • Clinicalbackground would be a plus

This position will primarily be responsible for accurately processing AP data, effectively communicating the status of the AP functions, obtaining all necessary approvals, and processing payments.
