About the team

The FIS Securitas Finance & Processing Sales team focuses on the North American sell-side market. We help our clients and prospects by bringing solutions to their every day tactical and futures strategic needs in the Securities Industry.

Our team is highly energetic, experienced and versatile, we tend to adjust to the pace of the market and our clients.

FIS Securities Processing Suite is comprised of industry leading solution components widely used by the top tier 1 and 2 financial institutions. Examples of those include: Loanet, Apex, Global One, Phase3, XSP & Intellimatch. This Suite is uniquely positioned to address the entire life cycle of a Broker Dealer post trade transaction flow, as well as servicing of the assets on the books.

What you will be doing

As part of the sales team you will:

  • Develop opportunities for new revenue within your assigned territory

  • Position FIS solutions to address clients pain points and business issues

  • Help create ROI and compelling event for clients/prospects

  • Collaborate with Solution SME's, business and finance to come up with the best deal structure for both FIS and the client

  • Be part of a winning team and contribute to overall team goals and quotas

The Sr. Solution Manager is responsible for the delivery of capabilities and other supporting technologies within the Finance area into Stryker sites. The Sr. Solution Manager is responsible for leading the production of detailed technical documents, configuration and/or development within the assigned applications, understanding of the overall design and architecture of a platform, and delivery of the end to end solutions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities : * Perform activities following Stryker's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes * Responsible for the build and technical delivery activities for all products/applications/technologies assigned to the team * Responsible for the delivery of capabilities across the Stryker Accounting and Finance application portfolio * Working with Demand Review Board to manage supply and demand into Global Application Delivery (GAD) group * Responsible for all planning and execution activities for the GAD group in Finance * Responsible for the overall systems architecture and design in the larger context of complex heterogeneous systems. * Manages and coordinates with external suppliers and deployment partners to ensure they meet their contracted deliverables, agreed upon timelines, and metrics. * Lead/champion new generation of technologies in the Finance arena * Accountable for choosing the right technology platform for implementing an architected solution * Formulates deployment strategies to ensure reliability and scalability for Stryker systems * Assesses technological risks that could jeopardize the growth and/or operations of the organization; makes recommendations on applications retirement * Leads and directs the work of Solution Leads, Technical Solution Analysts and Solution Architects within the Finance area and or enterprise programs. * Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist. * Writes specifications, develops architectural concepts and artifacts. * Works closely with vendors through the entire system development lifecycle and ultimately accountable for their performance against measured KPIs * Accountable for smooth transition to Service Delivery (Run) * Manages the HR designated tasks for the people within their team * Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables. * Special projects/assignments as required.
