Overview
The Sales Deal Desk Analyst works under the direction of the Director and Sales Dealmaker to operationalize and scale a dealmaking function to assist in meeting districts' goals to work with PowerSchool as a strategic provider in k-12 EdTech. The Sales Deal Desk Analyst will work within a team structure and independently towards a sustained effort to structure significant, mutually beneficial, and strategic deals in line with PowerSchool's growth requirements. This role operates at a critical functional intersection of sales operations, finance, and sales management, and it involves working with executive leaders in the company. The Sales Deal Desk Analyst will be embedded in a culture of accountability and routine - proactively leveraging significant renewals and supporting deal incubation, progression, and closing functions on strategic opportunities.
Responsibilities

Become versed in and cultivate an understanding of the value proposition of PowerSchool solutions, the market needs, and the unique funding and procurement environment of k-12.
Understand and apply all finance and SaaS standard metrics and operate within guidelines to help the sales team approach and win more favorable opportunities for these metrics.
Work to gather sales team and client/prospect requirements, structure and present custom financial and solution relationships, gain feedback, negotiate, and assist in securing commitment.
Actively participate in QBR processes, identifying team(s), opportunities, as well as themes and strategies where financial selling and dealmaking support will be beneficial
Identify opportunities for PowerSchool Executive Team involvement in regions, programs, or opportunities
Work with Sales Leaders to Identify areas of financial selling and ROI training and engage sales enablement as appropriate
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's Degree, Finance or General Business.
3-5 years experience in financial selling and ROI models
Demonstrated ability to create compelling executive-level presentations that stoke action on the part of clients
Knowledge of typical K-12 district organization and roles
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce.com preferred)
Excellent presentation and financial business case demonstration skills, executive presence
Works well in a collaborative environment

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $95,500 - $114,100 plus applicable commission. The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
