Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) is an integrated, affordable, and reliable solution that simplifies the complex global supply chain for Amazon's selling partners. With AGL, businesses can seamlessly transport their inventory from the factory door (in overseas locations such as China) directly to Amazon's fulfillment centers or upstream storage locations in the US and EU, all with a click of a button. AGL is hiring for Sr. Sales and Business Development Manager - a tenured, data-oriented sales leader who is passionate about transforming the way businesses approach their global supply chain operations.

Key job responsibilities

As the Senior Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be a senior leader responsible for driving AGL's adoption across a wide range of Seller Partners. In this role, you will:

Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to drive AGL adoption among strategic, enterprise and SMB sellers

Leverage your deep expertise in global supply chain management to understand the unique needs of each seller category and provide data-driven recommendations on how AGL can optimize their operations

Accelerate the sales funnel by creating and implementing effective seller education strategies and scalable operating procedures

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, storefront, support, and internal Amazon businesses, to drive key initiatives and improve the overall seller experience

Manage key stakeholder relationships and hold regular business reviews to chart out long-term strategies for growth and customer satisfaction

Represent AGL in key internal meetings and external industry forums.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business experience
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in data driven decision making to drive product adoption
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas, analyze data, and build custom reports and dashboards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA
  • Experience in freight forwarding, international logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role directly involving the coordination of global shipping and customs processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $101,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
