About the Role
The Sr. Sales Analyst will join the Sales Operations team reporting directly to the Business Analytics Manager, preparing complex reports of metrics and analysis, and communicate findings to internal stakeholders. In addition, the individual will provide business insight for the sales organization using analytical and interpersonal skills to drive decision making and to support the sales plan.
Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities
Develop reporting collect and analyze data to identify sales opportunities, assist with marketing strategies, and forecast market trends.
Report creation to support the sales teams utilizing Microsoft Excel, Salesforce Analytics, reporting and dashboards
Support business decision by tracking and providing reports on opportunity/threat analysis, promotional ROI and forecasting sales.
Territory analysis, definition recommendation, and design
Work with internal partners to apply sales data to organizational development.
Gather, analyze, and distribute sales data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Monitor and facilitate Salesforce activity tracking
Perform complex analysis of datasets and conduct regular data validation to reconcile and report on enterprise data quality and to resolve transactional system discrepancies
Conduct data profiling, cleansing & enrichment analytics
Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, computer science, mathematics, statistics or similar field, or equivalent years of work experience in a similar role
5 years of experience in an analytics role focused on sales metrics, Technology (SaaS) industry is preferred
3 years of Salesforce Analytics and/or other BI reporting systems experience is required
2 years of Salesforce CRM experience required
Highly proficient with advanced Excel skills, including business models, pivot tables, charts & graphs, ability to maintain complex spreadsheets
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Understanding of sales processes, sales plans, pipeline and forecasts
Proven ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high transaction, frequently changing environment
Effective written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with the sales team, with ability to articulate complex business issues clearly and effectively to internal partners
