Job Description
SumnerOne is looking for a highly motivated Senior Sales Account Manager to join our sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new logo accounts, achieving sales targets, creating and maintaining an active sales pipeline and maintaining service gross profit margins. An ideal candidate will have proven B2B sales skills in the State & Local government space, ability to develop creative sales strategies, and experience selling copiers/printers or related equipment to businesses.
Responsibilities
Prospect new potential accounts from an assigned account list and set appointments to drive copiers/printers, production print and managed print services sales
Using Salesforce create a "go to market" sales program targeting the SLG vertical in the Mid-MO geography
Perform needs analysis to determine ideal equipment and solutions for new customers
Prepare and deliver sales presentations promoting SumnerOne equipment/services to prospects
Address customer concerns and negotiate contracts within predetermined pricing guidelines
Maintain thorough knowledge of equipment features, service plans and competitive landscape
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, with new logo accounts
Develop and execute creative sales strategies to generate new business
Coordinate with marketing team to maximize lead generation efforts
Work closely with the service team to ensure high customer retention and service gross profit
Travel to customer locations across assigned territory for sales meetings and equipment demos, some travel to be
expected with occasional overnights
Enter ALL customer data and sales activity records into Salesforce CRM system
Requirements
3+ Years of proven experience as a B2B sales representative, preferably selling copiers/printers or similar equipment
Ability to cold call, network and qualify new business prospects
Strong presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to build effective client relationships
Familiarity with selling managed print services is a plus
Strong knowledge of MS Office and CRM software like Salesforce
Excellent communication and organizational skills
