As a Senior Safety Expert you will be responsibile for:
Making Lanxess' Americas plants safer: Ensuring that Lanxess' global standards in Process and Plant Safety are implemented and met in Lanxess Americas sites. Building up strong relationships with the assigned sites and external providers in order to fulfil Lanxess' annual Process and Plant Safety goals.

In order to accomplish this you must have:
Graduate degree in process engineering, chemical engineering or chemistry (PHD a plus) or electrical engineering/automation technical degree with several years of professional experience.
At least 10 years (or more) of professional related experience.
Leadership, Project Management and International experience of advantage.
Experience as a security expert and / or plant manager or plant engineer
Knowledge in the areas of safety, HAZOPs,
explosion protection and industrial safety regulations
