Role Summary:Candidate will be the Services Financial Partner supporting the GP product line. Responsible to develop innovative solutions to deliver customer outcomes and drive growth while managing company risk / reward. Seasoned, senior level individual contributors and managers requiring in-depth understanding of their business or function and how their role integrates with others within their discipline. Role requires good understanding of clients, industry, function and commercial markets.

Essential Responsibilities:

Additionally, as the Senior Risk Manager, Key responsibilities will include:

Provide Financial Leadership for GP CSAs

Partner with a cross-functional team (sales, CPMs, CPS, OCE, and business operations) to deliver long-term program modeling for contract negotiations on existing Services contracts

Lead discussions and trainings with cross-functional teams on financial metrics and long-term revenue accounting

Work with the operations team to manage op plan and growth playbook forecasting, and quarterly estimates

Provide support for Revenue Share Partners (RSPs)

  • Work with the RSPs and the Engine Alliance (JV with Pratt) to ensure program agreements and payment obligations are understood and managed effectively

  • Manage commercial actions and contract re-negotiations with the RSPs

  • Document processes and transactions across all channels and ensure all levels of leadership understand the financial relationships and transactional flows with our partners

  • Manage cross-functional projects to implement the GP CSA contracts in Smartprice and to simplify the model to reduce manual errors and increase business understanding

Contract Margin Review support

  • Work with fleet model team to update fleet model and technical cost data in support of the contract modeling

  • Work with CPS / OCE teams to perform DET analysis for contract Margin Reviews (CMRs) for existing MCPH Contracts

  • Create OM Walks for Contract Margin Reviews and Deal Analysis support to Program Manager

Provide support for commercial Actions:

  • Work with cross-functional team - SSD, OCE, and CSD to identify and document specific scenarios needed to run for commercial actions

  • Partner with Sales team and CPMs to develop standardized services contracts for key customers

  • Utilize technical runs provided by the OCE team to create scenarios within the DET for use in deal reviews during commercial actions

  • Utilize GE's scenario manager tool to provide summaries of the DET runs necessary for commercial actions

  • Prepare Price Severity Matrices to account for changes in operating parameters of engines like Flight leg, Derate, and utilization etc.

  • Prepare Deal Review packages for complex deals

Ad-Hoc Analysis:

  • Provide support on existing deals and CMRs for other engine lines as needed

Be involved in various projects initiated by GEES CSA team

Be involved in, and test, improvements of Smartprice and other digital tools

Support all Smartprice, CMR, productivity, and CA audits

Other ad hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Risk Management

Desired Characteristics:

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs

Established project management skills
