LMCRO is a second line of defense Independent Risk Management (IRM) function responsible for oversight of the company's measurement and management of risks across the crisis continuum, including liquidity risk, market risk-taking and management, capital measurement and management, and recovery and resolution planning. This includes regulatory stress testing (e.g., CCAR, ILST and other resilience analysis), regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel), overall liquidity, market, and capital risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
