This position is responsible for analyzing billing cycles, and monthly/quarterly revenue results. The Senior Revenue Analyst analyzes and explains trends and performance versus budgets and plans. The position is responsible for quantitative analysis, and written and oral communications to the Manager of Revenue. Revenue reports and analysis are organized by customer segment, product and any other related key metrics. In addition to revenue, the Senior Revenue Analyst will conduct comparative company benchmarking analysis.
Manager of Revenue
Essential duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze weekly billing cycles for weekly Revenue Assurance call
Prepare presentations shared in Executive Staff, Board of Director, Executive Committee and any other senior management meetings
Create revenue sequential analysis by segment, product and any other key metrics
Create revenue actual vs. budget comparisons by segment, product and any other key metrics
Create and share new revenue reports with Manager of Revenue Reporting
Provide revenue sequential observation and feedback to Manager of Revenue
Support any other ad hoc revenue and key metrics support analysis
Desired Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics and/or Business Administration.
Certification in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle
SQL experience preferred
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel based data analysis
Microsoft Office software knowledge and experience
Working knowledge of US GAAP accounting
Proven ability to work in fast paced, multi-tasking environment
Attention to detail
Problem solving ability
