Responsibilities

As a researcher in Perspecta Labs, you will be responsible for contributing to ongoing research efforts and building new research areas. You will work in teams to research concepts and develop cutting edge solutions to complex problems. You will also be required to communicate the results of research through customer presentations and publications. In this position, candidates will be performing reverse engineering of hardware and software on wireless embedded devices. This will include performing program analysis, vulnerability identification and remediation.

Qualifications

Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.

  • US Citizenship is required for this position.

  • 3+ years of experience in static and dynamic code analysis and reverse engineering

  • Candidates must have at least an active Secret security clearance

  • Deep knowledge of reverse engineering tools (disassemblers, decompilers, debuggers)

  • Understanding of modern software design techniques and practices

  • Experience with low-level software design and analysis

  • Experience with ARM assembly

  • Knowledge of binary instrumentation frameworks

  • Strong written and spoken communications/presentation skills

Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and prototyping signal processing algorithms for wireless systems. Knowledge of wireless communications, digital signal processing, and RF domain knowledge is required. Familiarity with multiple-antenna or distributed signal processing techniques is desired. You will work in teams to research concepts and develop cutting edge solutions to complex problems. You will also be required to communicate the results of research through customer presentations and publications. Must work well collaboratively and individually. Specific responsibilities include: * Developing, implementing, and analyzing signal processing and wireless communications techniques. * Implementing software solutions using signal processing algorithms * Conducting laboratory and outdoor experimentation using wireless systems Qualifications Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
