As a researcher in Perspecta Labs, you will be responsible for contributing to ongoing research efforts and building new research areas. You will work in teams to research concepts and develop cutting edge solutions to complex problems. You will also be required to communicate the results of research through customer presentations and publications. In this position, candidates will be performing reverse engineering of hardware and software on wireless embedded devices. This will include performing program analysis, vulnerability identification and remediation.
Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
US Citizenship is required for this position.
3+ years of experience in static and dynamic code analysis and reverse engineering
Candidates must have at least an active Secret security clearance
Deep knowledge of reverse engineering tools (disassemblers, decompilers, debuggers)
Understanding of modern software design techniques and practices
Experience with low-level software design and analysis
Experience with ARM assembly
Knowledge of binary instrumentation frameworks
Strong written and spoken communications/presentation skills
