Piper Health & Sciences is seeking a Senior Research Associate to join one of the top biotechnology companies in the Manchester, NH area. This role supports advanced areas of research including 3-D bioprinting, cellular programming, and regenerative medicine!
Responsibilities for the Sr. Research Associate include:
Perform cell studies and execute analytical methods to support the production and process development of cells used in 3D bioprinted organs.
Optimize the cellular reprogramming process from circulating cell types.
Execute and design studies to characterize newly generated iPSC lines.
Conduct/lead technical transfer of assays/methods into the production team.
Assist in establishing and implementing protocols and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for cell culturing in bioreactor and perfusion systems
Maintain materials, bioreactors, culture systems, reagents, and media to facilitate workflow.
Mentor and train junior staff in laboratory processes and procedures as needed
Qualifications for the Sr. Research Associate include:
Bachelor of Science in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field is required; Master of Science in Polymer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or similar is preferred.
2+ years of working in a GLP environment, BSL-2 lab, or equivalent experience in industry is required.
Strong knowledge and execution of differentiating iPSCs and flow cytometry is required.
Experience with process development and/or technical transfer is strongly encouraged.
Compensation for the Sr. Research Associate includes:
Salary Range: approximately $85,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience
